Microsoft SQL Server 2000 PivotTable Services

PivotTable® Service is an OLE DB provider for multidimensional data and data mining operations. This means that it provides OLE DB functionality for applications that need access to multidimensional data and data mining services.

By providing support for a subset of SQL and Multidimensional Expressions (MDX), PivotTable Service enables applications to retrieve tabular and multidimensional data. The data can be displayed, included in a local cube, analyzed using sophisticated data mining algorithms, or updated.
